MNFCA Predicts the Oscars

The Minnesota Film Critics Alliance announced their awards late last month, and now it’s the Academy’s turn.

Ahead of the Oscars broadcast tonight, several members of the MNFCA have predicted what movies will be victorious tonight. Many also shared which nominee they want to win.

Find out who is predicting what below.

Brian Eggert

Eggert appeared on the Twin Cities NBC affiliate KARE 11 to share his predictions in key races for the 95th Academy Awards.

Hunter Friesen

At the Cinema Dispatch, Friesen shared his full predictions for each Oscar category. Earlier, he shared who were the winners and losers following the nominations announcement.

Paul McGuire Grimes

For ABC affiliate KSTP’s series Twin Cities Live, Grimes went over his picks for the Academy Awards.

Matt Hambidge

Hambidge posted his predictions at his site News from the Couch.

Danny Haslach

Haslach’s podcast had an episode dedicated to Academy Award predictions released in January.

Matthew Liedke

On his site, Liedke shared his Academy Award predictions for each category. He also wrote a column to share his thoughts on the documentary nominees.

Ruth Maramis

At her site FlixChatter, Maramis shared who she thinks will win and should win at the Oscars.

Tyler Strandberg

For his website, Strandberg gave a detailed look at who he expects to win Oscars tonight.
